HOW IT ALL BEGAN
June 1998
Theresa
and John Ellsworth ( My sister )
June 12 1998- Theresa and John had
their wedding on my deck!
Theresa is the youngest of my 5 sisters, and this was my first
"OFFICIAL" wedding.
I became JP for the day( have since been ordained)and performed the ceremony on my
decorated deck,under an arch of flowers.
All my neighbors were out in their yards watching the ceremony. They
got a kick out of it, as did we!
We took alot of pictures in my neighbors back yard abutting the state forest,
and had a lovely reception at a local hall.
We have a very large immediate family, but Theresa and John managed
to have the most intimate of weddings
with close family and a few friends in attendance.
This is what started
it all for me. Once someone else heard about Theresa's wedding, people started calling me
to do their ceremonies.
I always recommended vendors and venues, and advise on theme and music, flowers. budget saving tips,
and Finally
had the bright idea to get educated about wedding consulting, planning, and business.
I have completed the Weddings as
a Business Course and All 5 courses offered from the Association of Bridal Consultants and hold the designation of Professional
Bridal Consultant.
I keep up on latest trends in fashion and themes through professional memberships, magazines,
attend local seminars and bridal shows,and constantly network with other people in the wedding industry and continue
my education for recertification and designations . I
also have traveled extensively, and have the designation of Certified Sandal's Specialist and also partner with
Ask Me About... for destination wedding or honeymoon planning.
"WE DO" WEDDINGS is a result
of my passion to be the best I can be, so I can offer my clients the best they deserve!
